Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Laramie County, Wyoming. You will work at a shipyard. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather On the job you will handle: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Part-time with flexible hours.
