Aluminium tig welder • Dane County, Wisconsin

Vacancy available: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Dane County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. The role involves: • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints What we are looking for: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection 2+ years on the tools preferred.
