Counter butcher wanted in Lake County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a counter butcher in Lake County, Minnesota. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. Day-to-day duties: • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
