Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in Carroll County, Iowa. You will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime 4+ years on the tools preferred.
