Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel wireman in City of Emporia, Virginia. The job is at a residential housing project. What we are looking for: • Valid wireman/electrical licence as required by the state • Willing to do shift work and breakdown call-outs • Safe handling of live LV circuits and proper PPE use Your main tasks: • Size and route cabling to suit the load current and voltage drop • Check earth continuity and earth pit resistance • Measure voltage, current and load with a multimeter and clamp meter • Dress and terminate wiring inside control panels • Isolate circuits and apply lockout-tagout before working We offer $2,500 per month plus benefits.
