Now hiring: we are hiring a gas pipe fitter in Wyoming County, New York. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. What we are looking for: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Driving licence for travel between sites • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Day to day you will check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,800 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift.
