Steel fixing chargehand — Decatur County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Decatur County, Indiana. On the job you will handle: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $22 per hour plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
