Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Effingham County, Illinois. On the job you will handle: • Load and offload fabricated units without scratching the finish • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws • Crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine • Fix handles, hinges, friction stays, locks and multipoint hardware Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
