Join our team: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in LaSalle Parish, Louisiana. On a typical shift you will read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; seal joints with a silicone gun and tool off a neat bead. Ideal candidate: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Good eye for measurement and a steady hand • Comfortable working at height with scaffolding and ladders Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
