Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG welder in Van Buren County, Tennessee. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $3,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
