Great opportunity: we are hiring a tyre and wheel fitter in Worth County, Iowa. You will be based in a commercial truck tyre depot. Your main tasks: • Repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule Requirements: • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
