Immediate opening: paint and prep technician (Wisconsin)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Bayfield County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a dealership paint shop. Day-to-day duties: • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint Requirements: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
