Join our team: we are hiring a confectioner in Otero County, New Mexico. You will be based at a cake shop. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Able to work early-morning and night shifts You will monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls.
