Immediate opening: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Fayette County, Alabama. The job is on a residential housebuilding project. Requirements: • Own basic hand tools • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers On a typical shift you will fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together. At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
