Vacancy available: MIG/MAG welder (Missouri)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in New Madrid County, Missouri. You will be based at a busy production line. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Your main tasks: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
