Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Posey County, Indiana. You will be based at a busy production line. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances On a typical shift you will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $4,100 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
