Steel erection rigger wanted in Ughelli South

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Ughelli South, Delta State. The job is at a busy construction site. You will attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles 1+ years on the tools preferred. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
