Now hiring: we are hiring a sausage maker in Onslow County, North Carolina. You will season and marinate meat on request; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone. You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
