Vacancy available: we are hiring a carpenter in Dickinson County, Iowa. Requirements: • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Own basic hand tools Day-to-day duties: • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
