Immediate opening: we are hiring a vehicle spray painter in Wayne County, Illinois. The job is at a busy body shop. Day-to-day duties: • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour What we are looking for: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns • Able to read and match factory paint codes Pay around $150 per day, based on your experience.
