Immediate opening: we are hiring a tile mason in San Mateo County, California. The job is in a tile and sanitaryware showroom. Day-to-day duties: • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even • Mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away Requirements: • Physically fit for kneeling, bending and lifting tile boxes • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter 1+ years on the tools preferred.
