Vacancy available: we are hiring an earthmoving equipment operator in Leelanau County, Michigan. The role involves: • Refuel the machine and record running hours • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Overtime paid at a premium rate.
