Immediate opening: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Bayfield County, Wisconsin. You will work at a busy machine shop. Requirements: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T The role involves measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends.
