Protective coatings painter • Rowan County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring a protective coatings painter in Rowan County, North Carolina. You will be based on commercial fit-out projects. Day-to-day duties: • Strip old paint and wallpaper with scrapers and heat guns • Sand and fill walls before applying primer • Cut in neat edges along ceilings, cornices and door frames • Measure up and work out paint and material quantities • Spray emulsion and enamel using HVLP and airless spray guns Ideal candidate: • Skilled with brush, roller and spray application • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
