Fabricator-welder — Victoria County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Victoria County, Texas. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
