Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Jerome County, Idaho. The job is in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites The role involves inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience.
