Great opportunity: safety officer (Borno State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a safety officer in Dikwa, Borno State. You will work at an oil and gas facility. Day-to-day duties: • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
