Elevator repair technician wanted in Richmond County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator repair technician in Richmond County, New York. The role involves: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Run load and overload tests with test weights • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate 1+ years on the tools preferred.
