Scaffolding erector • Marion County, Illinois

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Marion County, Illinois. The job is at a shipyard. Day to day you will tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely. What we are looking for: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms 2+ years on the tools preferred.
