Ideal candidate: • Attention to detail and a clean, even finish • Steady hand for filler work and block sanding The role involves strip out lights, mouldings and trims before repair; shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place; treat rust, apply seam sealer and underbody protection; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour.
