Milling machinist • Nsit Atai, Akwa Ibom State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machinist in Nsit Atai, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based in a toolroom. Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade On the job you will handle: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
