Pipe TIG welder — Pike County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Pike County, Illinois. You should have: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard On a typical shift you will back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
