Shopfront glazier wanted in Cherokee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shopfront glazier in Cherokee County, Alabama. You will be based at a busy glazing workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass What we are looking for: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Own basic hand tools an advantage • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools Full-time with occasional weekends.
