Vacancy available: we are hiring a stamping press operator in City and County of San Francisco, California. The job is at a busy press shop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Your main tasks: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
