Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production welder in Appanoose County, Iowa. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
