Pipe TIG welder wanted in Augusta County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in Augusta County, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $150 per day, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
