Urgent requirement: tig welder (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tig welder in Gaines County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
