You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime The role involves: • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator Six days a week, one day off.
