Now hiring: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Jackson County, South Dakota. You will work on the press shop floor. You should have: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Your main tasks: • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
