Immediate opening: bar bender and fixer (Missouri)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Pike County, Missouri. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Day-to-day duties: • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
