Cnc production machinist wanted in Saint Mary's County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Saint Mary's County, Maryland. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg The role involves: • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes 2+ years on the tools preferred.
