Rough terrain crane operator wanted in Newport County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Newport County, Rhode Island. The job is on a bridge and infrastructure project. On the job you will handle: • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Strong attention to safety and load limits 3+ years on the tools preferred. $16 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
