Hydraulic press operator wanted in Madera County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Madera County, California. You will be based in a metal fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
