Production welder wanted in Greene County

Now hiring: we are hiring a production welder in Greene County, Missouri. You will work at an automobile body shop. What we are looking for: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes The role involves bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
