Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Confident with standard crane hand signals Day to day you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle.
