Panel welder — Southend-on-Sea

Join our team: we are hiring a panel welder in Southend-on-Sea, England. Day to day you will bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols. You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
