We are recruiting: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Madison County, Idaho. The job is at a residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day You will setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
