Stainless steel welder — Akpabuyo

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Akpabuyo, Cross River State. The job is on a structural steel site. The role involves feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard 4+ years on the tools preferred.
