Fabrication workshop technician wanted in Cook County

Join our team: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Cook County, Illinois. You will be based on site fitting windows in new-build flats. The role involves crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash; glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square. Ideal candidate: • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
