We are recruiting: we are hiring a vehicle body repairer in Mason County, Michigan. Day to day you will shrink stretched and oil-canned metal with a shrinking hammer; check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull; read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; knock out dents and creases using a panel hammer and dolly. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Physically fit for lifting panels, bending and kneeling 3+ years on the tools preferred.
